The Kibiji Bike Path runs through the Kibi Plain in Southern Okayama. As you cycle along this dedicated bike path, you can stop at a variety of local attractions, including historic shrines and ancient burial mounds (kofun), all while riding through rows upon rows of rice paddies.

Kibiji bike path
This bike dedicated path, surrounded by rice paddies, is a popular and flat cycling route across the Kibi Plain. As a designated cycle-only path with clear signage, it's used daily by students commuting to school and farmers heading to their fields.
BiTCHU KOKUBUN‐JI temple
The pagoda is a landmark of Kibiji, built between 1704 and 1711. This Buddhist temple is a beloved spot for the local people.
Kibitsu-jinja
The main sanctuary is an Official National Treasure and an architectural masterpiece. It features the unique "Kibitsu-zukuri" style, the only one of its kind in Japan.
Rental bike shop
◆Araki-rent-a-cycle：It is located in the side of bus area, in front of JR Soja station.
◆Uedo-rent-a-cycle：It is located in next to the ticket gate of JR BIzen-Ichinomiya station.
◆Takaya-rent-a-cycle：It is located in near Bicchu Kokubunji.
Business hours：9:00 a.m. ～ 5:00 p.m. (Lending desk closes at 3:30 p.m.)

・City bike：1,500yen (Under 12 years old 500yen)
・Flat-bar-sports bike：2,200yen
・Electric assist bike：2,800yen
・Special large bike：2,800yen
・Tandem bike：6,500yen
※Advance reservations are recommended for all bicycles except city bikes.
※There might be very rare occasions in which the city bikes are all being used.

Front child seats can be used by children aged 1 to 4 years old and weighing up to 15 kg.
Rear child seats can be used by children aged 2 to 6 years old and weighing up to 20 kg.
Attention1
Our drop-off service allows you to return your rental bike to any of our three specified locations: Araki, Uedo or Takaya.
Bikes must be returned to one of these three shops and must not be left outside.

The listed price allows for unlimited use between 9:00AM and 5:00PM. We only offer a daily rate; hourly rentals are not available.

Our bikes are for single day use only. Multiple day rentals are not allowed.

Please be advised that returning you bike after 5:00PM will incur a late payment fee.

Your reservation will be confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us. We always reply to all customers except unsolicited sales mails. If you don't receive a reply within 2 days,
please check your spam folder or resend your message, making sure to include a correct email address and a secondary contact method (WhatsApp number or other email address).
Cancellation Policy
Please read the following cancellation policy carefully before making a reservation with Kibiji Rent-a-Cycle.
Cancellations and Modifications
To cancel or modify your reservation, please notify us by email at least 3 days prior to your scheduled rental date.
Cancellation Fees
If you cancel your reservation after the deadline, the following cancellation fees will apply:
Cancellation 2 days prior to the rental date: 20% of the total rental fee.
Cancellation 1 day prior to the rental date: 50% of the total rental fee.
Cancellation on the day of the rental: 100% of the total rental fee.
No-show: 100% of the total rental fee.
Weather-Related Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your reservation due to a rain forecast, please notify us by the scheduled rental time. In this case, no cancellation fee will be charged.
